Laptops Buying Tips
The other option for buying an inexpensive laptop is to buy a not-so-famous brand or those that are famous but not respected. Asus and Acer laptops usually come in this category. However, purchasing a new inexpensive laptop is not really a bargain if the computer doesn’t perform well.
Now there is no need to go for the abovementioned brands as good deals are being offered on new laptops from well known brands including Compaq, HP, Dell, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and many others. They are not inexpensive because they are refurbished or made from low quality components. They are inexpensive because costs of production have gone down. Today good laptops cost half as much as two years ago.
You can still find the less famous brands, refurbished models and low-priced laptops; however, there is no point of paying $300 for a refurbished laptop that comes with a 30-day warranty when you have the option of buying a new laptop for $400 with full warranty. This laptop might not be the best model. It might be bigger and heavier than its costlier counterparts. It might not have the fastest processor available in the market but can perfectly serve the purpose of a basic computer.
